Boppy Horror Show is a short and simple adventure focused on the Boppy the Mime and her journey to get snacks for her girlfriend in the midst of a Red Ghoul apocalypse.
A fun project and first Gameboy game from a seasoned Game Developer.
I decided to make a Gameboy game as a disciplined practice on keeping it simple and running well, things we as developers tend to ignore and forget as technology advances, enforced strongly by the built-in limitations of the hardware it is intended to be played upon..
Running a Fivem server I come across this often... 4k textures run through a pre-4k game engine, single vehicle models with a polygon count higher than 20 of the native vehicle files in the original engine etc and all the while people screaming "why is it so laggy?".
I am also an old hardware enthusiast and have several Gameboys I use for enjoyment and to create music with, making this project extra enjoyable.

I was hyped to play the game. Rly nice idea with the huge char pixelart popup by talk with them. Then i wonder why it is so short^^ There is so many work into this short story? I will follow u now and watch about following projekts =)
